FOR ACCOUNTANTS & ESTABLISHED BUSINESS OWNERS

You've Built Something Solid. So Why Doesn't It Feel Like Enough?

Established business. Good revenue. Solid client base. But you're working harder now than when you started, the whole thing runs on you, and somewhere along the way "success" started feeling like a trap you built yourself.

The business works. The question is: does it work for you?

You Know Something's Off. You Just Can't Put Your Finger On It.

Here's what I hear from established business owners and accountants:

  • "I should be able to delegate this stuff, but it's easier to just do it myself."

  • "I lie awake at 2am thinking about decisions that shouldn't be this hard."

  • "I'm making more money than ever but somehow there's less in the bank".

  • "My wife says I'm never really present, even when I'm home"

  • "I've got staff, systems, decent revenue... so why am I still the bottleneck?"

  • "I've hit every goal I set. So why does it feel so empty?"

Sound familiar?

You didn't get here by accident. You're smart, disciplined, you know your numbers.

You've built something most people can't.

Either the business you built to give you freedom became the thing that owns your time.

Or the revenue's there but it never feels secure. One bad quarter and you're scrambling.

Or you've hit every external measure of success and you're wondering: Is this it? Is this all there is?

Different problems. Same root cause: You're running patterns designed for a different stage of business…or a different version of yourself.

The Same Traits That Built Your Success

Are Now What's Trapping You

Think about how you got here.

You were the one who never dropped the ball. The reliable one. The one who worked harder than everyone else. The one clients could count on. The one who said yes when others said no.

Those patterns built something real. $500K. $1M. $5M. A solid business with a strong reputation.

But now you can't say no without guilt. Can't delegate without micromanaging. Can't make a decision without lying awake second guessing it. Can't step away because the whole thing will fall apart without you.

The playbook that got you here doesn't work anymore. But you keep running it because it's all you know.

So What Actually Fixes It?

Not another business coach telling you to work on your mindset.

Not another consultant giving you systems you won't implement.

Not another course teaching you strategies you already know.

What fixes it is identifying the specific pattern keeping you stuck, then dismantling it.

What Changes

At Courage in Motion, we work with established business owners and accountants who are stuck despite doing everything "right". You've got the revenue, the systems, the team but something's still broken.

We combine 20+ years of business and financial advisory with a practical understanding of why smart operators make dumb decisions. We identify what's actually causing the problem, usually patterns you can't see because you're too close to them, then fix it systematically.

The result:

You make decisions fast.

No more replaying conversations in your head, second guessing yourself, or needing three opinions before you can pull the trigger.

Delegation actually sticks.

You stop being the bottleneck who has to check, fix, and polish everything before it goes out the door.

Your time becomes yours again.

Set boundaries with problem clients. Stop answering emails at 10pm on Sunday. Keep the good clients without letting them run your life.

You keep what you earn.

Build actual reserves instead of riding the roller coaster where every good month gets wiped out by two bad ones.

Your life comes back.

Show up for dinner. Take a Saturday off. Stop running on fumes before your marriage or health pays the price.

You know where you're going.

Build what you actually want, whether that's exiting in three years, scaling to $10M, or running lean, instead of drifting on someone else's plan.

How We Work

This isn't therapy. It's not coaching. It's not consulting in the traditional sense.

It's practical mentoring that combines financial and business advisory with an understanding of why capable people get stuck in their own success.

What Others Are Saying

— Client, Professional

“I finally feel like my business reflects me, not just what others expect. The shift has been incredible”

“Practical steps, real conversations, and a level of courage I didn’t know I had. Highly recommend”

— Client, Business Owner

I'm Tish Millard, founder of Courage in Motion and financial leadership mentor. I spent 20+ years as a CPA and business advisor working with established businesses and accountants, first in traditional advisory, then increasingly with the ones who had all the right pieces but couldn't figure out why nothing was working.

The pattern became obvious: Smart operators were making decisions based on outdated wiring. The traits that built their businesses, reliability, working harder than everyone else, never dropping the ball, had become the cage.

So I started working differently. Not just on the numbers and systems, but on identifying the specific patterns creating the bottleneck. Because you can't strategy your way out of a problem you're hardwired to recreate.

I work with a small number of established operators in private mentoring sessions. If you're ready to identify what's actually holding you back and fix it systematically, let's talk. Book a 30-minute conversation. We'll identify your specific pattern and whether this work is right for you.
